Welcome to another article where I write about my journey playing Splinterlands! Astute readers may have noticed that I didn’t publish a mid-season article last week. I was actually away for a solid week visiting my folks before the holidays, as I’ll be spending the actual holidays with my wife’s family. At any rate, the travel and holiday preparations didn’t really lend themselves to writing up an article last week.
Since I’ve got a ton of results to write up, I’ll try to be fairly brief on my other meanderings. Some of the biggest changes to the game were that Runi finally became playable this past Tuesday, the Legendary water summoner for Chaos Legion was released, and a holiday promo card was released! Two new rules sets were also introduced, one giving all monsters Cripple and the other giving all monsters Amplify. Some minor Land stuff was released, but nothing that really impacts game play for some time there.

Daily Quest Rewards:
Daily Quest # 804. Got Defend Focus with Diamond chests from the end of the previous season. I received 2.875 (1.553 + 1.322) Splintershards (SPS), a Pelacor Conjurer, and an Ever-Hungry Skull.
InvestYGator, my Silver league alternate account, got Exploits Focus. I got 0.772 (0.056 + 0.179 + 0.297 + 0.067 + 0.079 + 0.047 + 0.047) SPS, 6 Merits, 4 (2 + 2) Gold potions, and a Blood Maker.

Guild Brawl #118, playing Bronze League Gold Foil Only. The guild came in 4th from last place, which is actually a step up from our recent performances.

Guild Brawl #119, playing Bronze League Gold Foil Only. The guild did much better than usual, coming in third place overall. I only had one match, that I did win, but didn’t write down the opponent.
Guild Brawl #120, playing Bronze League Gold Foil Only. In a return to poor form, multiple people didn’t submit teams and we once again came in 2nd to last place.

The Rest:
No real trading or tournaments, as usual of late. I did remember to put a few extra cards up for rent at least, since prices are low and I don’t particularly want to sell them until the market recovers a bit. Beyond that, I finished up the season as usual, with my main account in Diamond III and my alternate account in Gold III.

I did open 100 Chaos Legion packs looking for the new summoner, and I thought I had screen shots, but can’t seem to find them now. It’s been a long couple of weeks and still trying to get caught up after my time away. Anyhow, plenty of screenshots of things already in this combined article!
